What we will offer

We will offer you a place where you can be yourself and where there are no limits on what you can achieve. With us, you can take ownership of your career and have honest conversations throughout. You would join an ambitious firm with a clear strategy for profitable growth where you can get early responsibility and early involvement in growing the business. Here you can expect a competitive and fair reward as well as recognition based on all round performance. This forms part of our internal promise to you, The Deal, between the firm and its employees.

Team Structure

This role will be the sole IT System Engineer for the Madrid office but will be part of a wider engineering team. It will report to the IT Service Manager (Europe) and is essential for maintaining an organisation's IT systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and networks.

Main Responsibilities

Your day to day will include installing and configuring devices and applications, providing desk side and remote support, and assisting end-users with technical challenges. You’ll also implement and monitor security protocols, maintain accurate records of technical issues, and collaborate with global IT teams to deliver seamless service.

The role involves managing ServiceNow incidents and requests, supporting firm events with AV setup, and acting as an on-point engineer for project requirements. You’ll escalate recurring issues to IT leadership and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for problem resolution.

Attributes/Skills Required

You’ll need experience in a legal or professional services environment, strong technical skills with Windows 11, Office 365, and help desk tools, and the ability to support legal applications and troubleshoot hardware issues. Excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and strong organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work well under pressure and build good relationships with colleagues and clients.
